The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering – CIPHE – has appointed Tim Sainty as its new membership director.

Sainty joins the company following a seven-year stint as head of membership at the British Veterinary Association. He also spent 10 years at the association in various membership positions.

In his new role, Sainty will be tasked with growing CIPHE membership, as well as “enhancing services for members” and improving the institute's communications.

“Tim joins us at a very exciting time,” said CEO Kevin Welman. “The institute is 100% committed to enhancing its benefits and services to members in the UK and worldwide. With Tim’s knowledge, experience and energy on board, we are looking forward to some really positive developments through the rest of 2017. After all, CIPHE members are some of the best in the industry, and we want to make sure that CIPHE membership is working hard for them.”
