Plumber of the Year entry deadline extended

By KBBDaily on 16th June 2017 - 10:48am

JT, Bristan and Plumb Center have extended the entry deadline for national plumbing competition Plumber of the Year 2017 by a full week “to allow for Britain's hardworking plumbers to apply to win the prestigious title”.

The new deadline is Friday 23rd June, the organisers said, having originally been set to close today (Friday 16th June) but extended due to “high numbers of applicants”. Last year's competition was won by Shaun Scott, pictured, from Insch in Scotland.

“I was really proud to win Plumber of the Year 2016 and the prizes were amazing,” said Scott. “However, the exposure brought by the competition has really benefited myself and the business. This competition is something all plumbers should get involved in.”

The prize for this year's winner is £10,000 worth of goods, including products from JT and Bristan and vouchers for Plumb Center. There will also be runners-up prizes for the 15 plumbers who make the shortlist, and every entrant will receive a 10% discount on online Plumb Center orders.
