Cosentino Group sees record turnover for 2016

By KBBDaily on 16th June 2017 - 16:22pm

The Cosentino Group has reported a record turnover of €834m for 2016, as well as EBITDA of €117m, representing an increase of 16% compared with 2015, the company said.

According to the group, its growth was achieved “in spite of the negative impact of varying exchange rates against the previous year, primarily due to the effect of Brexit”.

The group invested €170m in the company as part of its 2016-19 investment plan, most of which went towards the construction of a second Dekton manufacturing plant, as well as the development of new, automated logistics facilities.

The investment plan is also set to create a total of 1,050 jobs across its four-year period, Cosentino said. The group opened nine Cosentino Centres across the year, including those in the US, Scotland and Denmark.
