BathroomsByDesign launches shipping container showroom

By KBBDaily on 14th July 2017 - 12:05pm

Independent bathroom company BathroomsByDesign recently opened its new showroom in Brentford, West London, made entirely from used shipping containers.

The 3,330sq ft showroom is spread across three floors and features 10 bathroom displays alongside a European tile gallery, exhibition zones and a fully furnished shipping container show home, with products on display including those by Crosswater, Vado, Roca and Laufen.

The showroom – which also features two design studios equipped with virtual reality design software – was officially opened earlier this month by BathroomsByDesign group chairman Sam Colwill and Brentford & Isleworth MP Ruth Cadbury.

According to the company, it has plans to open another three showrooms by the end of 2018, with its new shipping container showroom its second in London. The company has also launched its new e-commerce site.

“It’s been a whirlwind few months for BathroomsByDesign which culminated in the opening of our new showroom in Brentford,” said managing director Charlie O'Rourke. “Part of our showroom expansion plan, our Brentford offering is truly unique in its construction, and packed with magnificent displays and products.”

He added: “This is a very proud moment for our talented, dedicated team who look forward to serving the needs of both our retail and trade customers, and to ultimately fulfilling their bathroom dreams.”
