Victorian Plumbing has been named the UK's 'highest rated online bathroom specialist', according to rankings from web traffic analytics company Alexa, as well as being the “only online bathroom specialist which appears in the top 1,000 UK websites”, it said.

Victorian Plumbing has had “a greater online market share” than rivals, Better Bathrooms and Bath Empire, the company said, based on data from Experian Hitwise Digital Insights. According to the company, turnover in 2015 reached £42.26m, a 120% increase from the £19.2m recorded in 2014.

The company is planning several new projects to boost growth in 2016, including a new TV advertisement that will “take the brand in an exciting new direction”, it said. “The brand continues to grow from strength-to-strength and overtaking all of our main rivals in the marketplace was great to see,” said managing director Mark Radcliffe. “The team work so hard to be the best in every area and it’s satisfying to know that our efforts are paying off.

“I am so excited about the opportunities out there and we have ambitious plans to take full advantage. We aim to take the brand to the highest level and there’s lots more exciting news to come from Victorian Plumbing in the near future. We’re fortunate to have an amazing team with a genuine passion for our work.”
