Stoves relaunches Community Kitchens initiative

Cooking appliance brand Stoves has re-launched its £20,000 Community Kitchens projects fund after being “inundated with hundreds of entries from charities across the UK”, according to the company.

The competition – which will run until 11th June – is designed to “place the kitchen at the heart of local communities by helping community organisations to transform their kitchen facilities” and asks people to nominate charities and organisations that have a positive impact on communities.

After the nominations deadline, a shortlist will be chosen and will be put to a public vote, with the projects that receive the highest number of votes set to be awarded bronze-, silver- and gold-level prizes worth between £2,000 and £5,000.
