JP Distribution MD to retire

Tony Oates, the managing director of West Yorkshire-based kitchen and bathroom distributor JP Distribution, is set to retire in the spring of next year, the company has said, having headed up the business for the last 12 years.

“The business has seen considerable change during the past 12 years with our expansion geographically from a regional to a national business, supported by our move from a Victorian mill to a purpose-built distribution depot in 2008,” said Oates.

“We have developed the product range via the introduction of international sourcing and own brand product across all sectors of the business. Our customer base is the largest we have ever supplied and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their support during my time with the company.”

He added: “Additionally, I am delighted to announce that we will be exhibiting at KBB Birmingham next year for the first time, and I look forward to welcoming you to our stand from the 4th to 7th March 2018.”
