Astracast has appointed Neil Whitaker-Johnson, pictured left, and Tom Lanaway, right, to its sales team as regional sales managers in central UK and the north, respectively.

Whitaker-Johnson has more than 25 years of experience in sales, the last 15 of which were spent as a regional sales manager in the kitchen sector, according to Astracast. He has previously worked as a regional sales manager at Blanco UK and business development manager at The 1810 Company.

Lanaway joined Astracast three years ago as a sales coordinator. He has since progressed in the business, holding several roles, before his new appointment to the company’s external sales team in the north.

Astracast was acquired by businessman and entrepreneur Darren Cooper last year. According to the company, Cooper identified a “huge opportunity to turn the company around by reinvestment, restructuring and new focus”.

“Our aim is to become the number one brand once again over the next three years,” said Astracast managing director Darren Cooper. “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Neil and Tom into their new roles at Astracast, bringing their wealth of experience and industry knowledge into the field. We are excited to see their skills make Astracast the leader in the kitchen sinks sector once again.”
