Judgment day

By KBBDaily on 27th January 2014 - 17:05pm

The four judges of Miele's Grand Designs Live competition have put the entries through their paces and selected the winners, which will be announced in the March issue of Essential Kitchen & Bathroom Business magazine, and the June issue of Grand Designs magazine.

The competition saw premium appliance brand Miele give independent kitchen retailers the chance to win a 6 x 5m space-only stand at Grand Designs Live London from 3rd – 11th May 2014, along with free and discounted tickets to the show. Entrants had to design a 6 x 5m kitchen featuring Miele appliances in one of three price bands – under £20,000, £20,000 – £40,000, and £40,000 plus, with one stand prize available for each category.

The judges, Wayne Hemingway MBE, pictured right, Nicola Hanley, editor of Essential Kitchen & Bathroom Business magazine, second right; Dominic Worsley, Miele's marketing director, second left; and Lisa Allen, editor of Grand Designs magazine, left, are pictured at Miele's London Gallery after selecting the winners.
