Bathroom retailer C.P. Hart has bought European Bathrooms, a luxury bathroom designer with showrooms in Windsor and Amersham.

According to C.P. Hart – which is expecting to generate turnover of £50m this year – integration of the new brand will be carried out over the next few months by European Bathrooms’ directors, who will be staying with the business.

“European Bathrooms brings its very experienced staff, well fitted out showrooms and different and highly respected new products to C.P. Hart,” said European Bathrooms director Gary Parkes, who led negotiations with C.P. Hart.

“The European Bathrooms showrooms will be re-branded C.P. Hart but its employees and commitment to existing customers and suppliers can only be strengthened by becoming part of a larger company.”

C.P. Hart chairman Kevin Ohle – who acquired C.P. Hart alongside Richard Reynolds in 2008 – added: “One of our most important objectives is to increase access to our inspirational products and services across the UK.

“Windsor and Amersham are both in our top ten target locations – therefore we are delighted to be joining up with such a professional and long-established business as European Bathrooms. It shares our values and market positioning.”
