The KBB National Training Group – NTG – has appointed Ray Isted as chairman, succeeding Brian Evans, who held the position for two years.

Isted, who has previously worked for Whirlpool UK as head of training and group brand marketing manager, brings several years of experience in the KBB industry to the role.

KBB NTG CEO Renee Mascari said: “Ray’s experience and industry insight will be invaluable to the NTG. His background within training and marketing will be a real asset, and the board will be able to call upon his expertise and direction to assist in the evolution of both the NTG and training in general within the industry.”

Isted said he was “honoured” to have been offered the position. “I am looking forward to working closely with the board to continue to build on the success to date and assist in the future growth and advancement of the NTG, as well as raising the profile of training and standards within the industry,” he added.
