ek&bbusiness Awards 2017 winners revealed

By KBBDaily on 1st December 2017 - 08:27am

The winners of the 2017 ek&bbusiness Awards were revealed yesterday afternoon at a stunning festive ceremony at The Brewery in London filled with Champagne, delicious food and amazing surprise entertainment.

Guests were treated to a Champagne reception upon arrival, followed by a three-course meal with live entertainment from Britain's Got Talent's vocal group Jack Pack, supported by the It Girls, who performed last year.

British comedian, author and world record holder Tim FitzHigham – the man who rowed a bathtub across the English channel – then gave the Review of the Year, looking back on all the highlights of the KBB industry.

The host of the afternoon, comedian Rob Beckett, then treated guests to a side-splitting stand-up routine before presenting our 13 category winners with their awards. Finally, to round off a fantastic afternoon, a gospel choir was revealed to see off guests.

“We'd like to say a massive thank you to all those who came to the ek&bbusiness Awards yesterday, and to all our sponsors,” said ek&bbusiness editor Emma Hedges, who presented the awards alongside Rob Beckett and publisher Darren Summerfield.

“This year's event was incredible, and without the amazing support we've received from across the industry it would never have been possible. Thanks must also go to everyone who took the time to enter their companies and products for an award – the standard of the entries was extremely high across the board. Finally, congratulations to all the winners – we hope you all enjoyed celebrating the best of the best with us and getting in the Christmas spirit early!”

Christine Adams, head of events at Hubert Burda Media UK, added: "What an absolute pleasure it has been for me to organise this event for such a wonderful industry. I am delighted with how successful yesterday was and I can’t wait to get cracking on next year’s event."
