Whirlpool UK has been awarded the Top Employers Europe and United Kington 2018 certifications by the Top Employers Institute, which certifies employers every year based on several criteria including learning and development, compensation and benefits, and culture.

Other criteria include talent strategy, workforce planning, “on-boarding”, performance management, leadership development and career and succession management, Whirlpool UK said, adding that it has been recognised for “nurturing and developing talent”.

“Whirlpool UK is honoured to be amongst the selected employers who create world-class conditions for their employees,” said Whirlpool UK HR director Fabio Colombo, pictured. “This fantastic achievement makes us proud of being part of Whirlpool Corporation and motivates us to continue building on our winning workplace.”

Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink added: “Our comprehensive research concluded that Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited provides an outstanding employment environment and offers a wide range of creative initiatives, from secondary benefits and working conditions, to performance-management programmes that are well thought out and truly aligned with the culture of their company.”
