Glen Dimplex bolsters management team

Glen Dimplex Consumer Appliances CEO Andy Griffiths has made a raft of senior hires to bolster the company’s management team, having previously announced the appointment of Mark Davison to the newly created position of managing director of Glen Dimplex Home Appliances.

Ian Greig has joined the company as COO with responsibility for manufacturing and supply chain operations across all brands within Glen Dimplex Consumer Appliances. He previously worked at Britax Group as its group head of supply chain.

Vicky Philemon – who was previously vice president for consumer products at Black & Decker – has been appointed to the new position of managing director of the Morphy Richards brand, while Harry Kyriacou has been named director of strategy and commercial excellence. Kyriacou joined from his role of category director for dishwashing EMEA at Whirlpool.

Lastly, Stephen Pilkington has been named finance director for Glen Dimplex Consumer Appliances, joining the company from O2 where he was finance director for the consumer division.

“The first step in my strategy to deliver growth across all our brands is to bring in the best talent in the industry,” said Griffiths. “With that senior leadership in place, our focus now is on invigorating our brands whilst continuing to transform Glen Dimplex Consumer Appliances into a modern, efficient business.”
