Lixil takes home 21 Red Dot Design awards for 2018

Grohe owner Lixil Group has taken home 21 accolades in this year’s Red Dot Design Awards for its Inax, Grohe, American Standard, Lixil, DXV and Sato brands, including a ‘Best of the Best’ achievement for its Lixil Ecocarat wall tile product.

Inax’s wide square bowl basin also won an award, as well as Grohe’s Red water system, Atrio tap, Blue Home pull-out tap, Euphoria 206 shower, Sense water sensor, Sense Guard, small flush plates, Spa Colours collection and SmartControl concealed shower system.

American Standard’s Studio S widespread faucet, Studio S monoblock faucet, NextGen Selectronic faucet, Beale MeasureFill faucet and Genie hand shower also won at the awards, alongside Lixil’s Fullfall shower, DXV’s Modulus lavatory and vanity sink and the DXV Modulus widespread faucet.

Sato’s V-Trap toilet system also received an Honourable Mention, according to Lixil. “At Lixil, we use the strength of our global in-house design teams to make intuitive and beautiful products that matter to people and improve our homes,” said Lixil president and CEO Kinya Seto.

“We are proud that our unique brands were recognized today for their meaningful designs, and will continue to strive to make better homes a reality for everyone, everywhere.”
