The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation – BiKBBI – has named Alan Grant as its second regional brand ambassador, with Grant set to represent the organisation in the south west region.

He is the second of three planned appointments, the BiKBBI added. Grant owns his own installation business in Plymouth and is a current installation partner with Ikea. He has also been working with the BiKBBI for a number of years as an independent inspector.

“As an existing inspector for the organisation, I have witnessed unprecedented growth and the subsequent positive effect BiKBBI is having within the industry,” Grant said. “I’m incredibly honoured to be playing an important role at the institute.

“The industry has been good to me over the last 20 years and this is a great opportunity for me to give something back and support the only organisation dedicated specifically to KBB installation here in the UK. It’s a unique opportunity to do something special, which is exactly what I plan to do.”

BiKBBI communication manager Nicole Mercer added: “We are delighted and incredibly proud about our latest appointment. Alan brings over 22 years of KBB experience to the team and is passionate about sharing and supporting the core pillars of the institute, in particular professional standards and education.”
