Hotpoint has partnered with housebuilder Avant Homes in an “industry-first partnership” that will see the appliance manufacturer installing laundry, cooking and cooling appliances in all Avant Home properties built in the UK.

Avant said it will be the only housebuilder in the UK to offer Hotpoint’s Class 9 cooking collection as part of its integrated home and kitchen appliance package as standard in all homes. Hotpoint products included in the housebuilder’s homes include the SI9 891SCIX electric single built-in oven and warming drawer, MP 966 IX H built-in microwave, and WD914NB gas hob.

The housebuilder noted that the partnership is a result of its “aim of challenging the conventions of the housebuilding industry”. The specification is being rolled out across Avant’s developments in Scotland, north east England, Yorkshire and the Midlands.

“We are very excited about our partnership with Avant Homes,” said Hotpoint channel manager Phil Slater. “There are clear affinities between our two brands with a focus on innovation being at the heart of what both businesses do.

“Our Class 9 cooking collection has an integrated system of advanced technology meaning that Avant Homes’ buyers are acquiring the very best Hotpoint products designed to let them express creativity in the kitchen with consistently excellent results.”

Avant Homes CEO Colin Lewis said: “We set out to deliver kitchens unlike any other. We understand that the kitchen is the hub of the home in which people entertain and enjoy spending their time so a lot of our focus has been on ensuring this space is both functional and reflect the latest trends.

“Our designs are from Italy and our industry-first partnership with Hotpoint provides our buyers with the perfect combination of style and substance,” Lewis added. “Hotpoint encompasses everything we look for in a supplier with a fierce commitment to innovation and user satisfaction and we are delighted to be working with the brand.”
