West Yorkshire-based Moores Furniture Group has appointed Samantha Alleyne as its new business development manager for London and the south east, with Alleyne based at the company’s Wetherby headquarters looking after housebuilders in the region.

Alleyne previously worked as a business development manager for London and East Anglia at Moores from 2008 to 2013, before taking time off to focus on her family. Prior to that, she worked at a high-end kitchen showroom for three years.

“I am delighted to be back in the field in the challenging yet rewarding role of business development manager in London and the south east,” said Alleyne. “Moores has been through a lot of changes in the five years that I have been away, but all the good elements remain.

“I am thrilled to be re-joining the team. One of the channels I will be developing in London and the south east is the public sector. This part of the business is starting to really thrive again thanks to the hard work of the team, and I am really excited to see where it goes next.”
