Scottish kitchen designer and retailer Kitchens International has appointed Karen Miller, pictured left, and Ailsa Howorth, right, as its new HR manager and contracts design manager, respectively.

Miller has joined the company with more than 20 years of experience within HR, according to Kitchens International, most recently working at Johnson & Johnson Medical. She is an accredited coach and chartered member of the CIPD.

Howorth has been promoted to the newly created position of contracts design manager. She will be heading up a team of four designers in the company’s expanding contracts division.

“The expertise and wisdom both Karen and Ailsa bring to the company is enormous and they will assist in ensuring that Kitchens International stays at the forefront of the industry today and into the future,” said managing director Gerry Watson.
