By KBBDaily on 14th September 2018 - 13:48pm

Yesterday saw professionals from across the kitchen and bathroom industry attend the second edition of KBBdigicon, the digital-marketing conference from Hubert Burda Media UK, publisher of award-winning titles KBBDaily.com, EKBB and ek&bbusiness.

Taking place in impressive central London venue De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, the event's hashtag #kbbdigicon saw an estimated reach of 75,260 on the day.

Chaired by Philip Smith, speakers and topics included:

- Tom Dunmore Content that shines: how digital storytelling can transform customer experience
- James Mortimer The social update: best practice across Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat et. al
- Jordan Bucknell how to use Facebook to generate leads for your business
- Mark Wheat Voice search: using SEO and content for a successful voice strategy
- Kristian Bannister How to re-grow your mailing lists after GDPR
- Daryll Scott Getting into the customer's mind-set to create engaging online experiences
- Ellie Hernaman Three golden rules for managing an online crisis

Two panels of pros took to the stage to discuss two particularly pertinent topics for the industry: namely, digital marketing best-practice for 2019 and future-tech.

Speaking about the event, Katie Byrne, speaker and panellist co-ordinator, said: "Our second-ever KBBdigicon was as informative as it was interesting, bringing together some of the brightest minds across the digital sphere under one roof. We've had some fantastic feedback from guests so far and it's wonderful to hear how many people left the event feeling utterly inspired."
