Pontypool-based bathroom brassware and sanitaryware distributor Faucets has raised £228 for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Held at the Welsh company’s headquarters, staff made a “huge effort” to bring in both homemade and store-bought cakes, including cupcakes, Victoria sponge, flapjacks, shortbread, cheesecakes and brownies.

Faucets managing director Darren Taylor called the morning “a fantastic effort from all the staff!”

He added: “We had lovely tasty cakes, and very generous donations. Faucets are delighted to match the money raised by the staff. I am very proud of everyone’s efforts.”
