Masterclass Kitchens has welcomed Alex Walmsley to its team for a year-long marketing internship.

Walmsley is currently studying business management at Swansea University. In his new role at Masterlcass, he will be inputting and qualifying leads, copywriting for the company newsletter and website, as well as managing brochure requests and social media.

“The placement is giving me real-life working skills and enabling me to adapt what I’ve learnt at university to the workplace,” said Walmsley.

Masterclass Kitchens managing director Gerald Jones said: “We’re delighted to welcome Alex to the team and are sure he will be an asset during his time with us.

“Offering an undergraduate internship means that as a company we can benefit from the fresh thinking and new ideas that Alex brings to the marketing team, while he gains important experience that employers will be looking for once he has graduated.”
