Howdens reports 7.5% uplift in revenue in trading update

Howden Joinery Group has reported an increase in revenue in its trading update for the period spanning from 17th June 2018 to 3rd November 2018.

Total revenue for Howdens UK depots in the period rose by 7.5%, driven “mainly by volume growth”, the group said.

Howdens added that it expects to add around 33 new depots in the UK this year, taking the total number to 694. The company noted that it remains “on track to meet the board’s expectations for the full year”.
