Sanitary equipment manufacturer Wirquin UK has appointed Rachael Mackman as its new buying group manager, reporting directly to commercial director Nick Richards.

Mackman has more than 20 years of experience within the building and construction industry in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

She recently worked in the south east of England supporting buying groups and national merchants within the KBB sector, according to Wirquin.

“Wirquin felt my experience was ideally placed to support their growing business through buying groups,” said Mackman.

“I was really impressed by the investment in innovation at Wirquin and that their key focus is designing products that make life easier for the installer.”

She added: “My new role will be to support buying group members and deliver added value to their businesses. The strong range of products at Wirquin will certainly help me to achieve this.”
