Sven Herden, pictured centre – the former managing director of Häcker Küchen UK, who stepped down from his role earlier this year – has been named as the new managing director of Rotpunkt Küchen.

Herden will start his new role on the 1st January 2019, and will be based at Rotpunkt’s head office in Bünde in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He will focus on sales and marketing for all markets, the company noted.

“We are glad to have found a new colleague who stands for innovation and internationality,” said Rotpunkt’s managing partners Andreas Wagner and Heinz-Jürgen Meyer, pictured left and right, respectively.

“We’ve had a continuous double-digit growth during the last years and have invested in the future of Rotpunkt Küchen; now we want to move forward on this route with Sven Herden.”

They added: “We will get new ideas from him for our business and we hope to benefit from his experience of his former roles.”

Herden became UK managing director of Häcker Küchen in 2015, when Häcker Own Brand founder Stephen Fass stepped down from his director role at the company.

Herden said: “I’m really looking forward to being part of a highly motivated team in this family-run business and want to help with my experience to drive the company further forward.”
