Grohe has appointed Stefan Gesing as its new chief financial officer, with Gesing set to take on his new role on the 14th January 2019.

Gesing has succeeded Adam Bryson in the role. In September, Bryson took on the position of CFO for Lixil Americas.

Gesing is joining the company from German industrial engineering and steel production conglomerate thyssenkrupp, where he worked as CFO of industrial solutions.

“We’re excited to welcome Stefan Gesing as our new CFO,” said Grohe CEO Michael Rauterkus. “He brings extensive financial, operational, and strategic experience.

“This, combined with his deep industry knowledge and experience scaling high-growth companies, will be a huge asset to Grohe as we are shaping the future.”

Gesing added: “I am very happy to join Grohe as one of the most innovative brands in the market. An important aspect will be to further strengthen our global leadership position in terms of growth and profitability.”
