The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation – BiKBBI – has revealed that its annual conference for 2019 will be held at The Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 30th January 2019, with more than 100 industry professionals in attendance.

According to the BiKBBI – which will be marking its 13th anniversary next year – the 2019 edition of the conference will be “extraordinary” with CEO Damian Walters set to make a “very special announcement” at the event.

“Suppliers, distributors, manufacturers and retailers continually innovate with a fast-changing portfolio of stunning customer proposition,” said Walters. “But installation has quite simply failed to keep up with this innovation.

“There have been singular defining moments that have changed the face of other industries, most of which have been driven by technology. Our announcement in January, which has been the culmination of five years’ work, has the potential to be a game changer here in the United Kingdom, answering many of the challenges that our industry faces relating to installation.”

He added: “Our announcement will not disappoint. Our journey has had a number of ups and downs, but I am more than confident that this will elevate our profile and demonstrate our forward thinking. It’s not quite a Mars landing, but I believe our announcement is as pioneering in our world!”
