CAD software specialist for the KBB market ArtiCAD has welcomed Tyne & Wear-based bathroom manufacturer Be Modern – which sells its Atlanta brand exclusively to retail customers – to its Supplier Partnership Programme.

“Customers were increasingly asking if it would be possible for our products to be available in a CAD system which would make it easier for them to incorporate them into their designs – and ArtiCAD-Pro was the one they asked for most,” said Be Modern marketing manager Kelly Whitlock.

“We have been very impressed with the ease of use of the ArtiCAD software and the quality of the renders. Since ease of installation and quality are fundamental to the way we design our own products, there was an immediate synergy between our two companies.”

Be Modern’s portfolio of 400 products have been added to a graphics catalogue in the ArtiCAD-Pro software, with new products – including the Cashmere Gloss and Light Grey Gloss finishes, as well as new units and accessories – set to be added.

“We hope that by having our products in ArtiCAD that it will make it easier for our customers to quote, promote and sell our range, and in turn for them to deliver a better service to their own customers,” said Whitlock.

“Consumer expectations have changed over the past years and they expect to see an image of exactly how their bathroom will look; we need to support our retailers by making this easier to achieve. A new bathroom is a high-value spend, and a powerful and realistic image of the new room will give customers the confidence to place their order with our retailers.”
