Italian manufacturer Scavolini has obtained the “coveted” Made in Italy certification, which is awarded to companies who manufacture, assemble and package products “only on Italian soil”.

Regulated by the Italian government, the performance of products awarded the certification must meet “rigorous standards” in terms of safety, resistance and durability. The two biggest testing and certification labs in Italy – COSMOB AND CATAS – issue the certification.

“The Made in Italy stamp means a great deal to us at Scavolini,” said Scavolini UK branch manager Vittorio Naldi. “Our roots are proudly Italian – the company was founded in 1961 by brothers Valter and Elvino Scavolini.

“This certification of Italian origin and Italian quality is affirmation of nearly 60 years of hard work and innovation. It’s also great news for our retailers, as Made in Italy is a strong selling point that will resonate with consumers. We are delighted!”
