Franke has launched a new UK-wide repair team for its boiling water taps, hoods and waste disposal units – both in and out of warranty – as part of its consumer care department.

The company has unveiled a new vehicle fleet featuring its ‘Make it Wonderful’ illustrations and branding, with the area service technicians wearing branded Franke uniforms and carrying official company ID.

“Franke products are built to last using the finest quality materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques but we accept that from time-to-time, things may go wrong,” said Franke UK managing director Neil Clark.

“That’s why we are one of the first sink and tap manufacturers to provide a repair service for boiling water taps, hoods and WDUs with a dedicated team that are out in the field. It’s an important point of differentiation from other brands.”

He added: “The boiling water tap category is still relatively new, so we particularly want to support customers with all Franke Minerva 3- and 4-in-1 taps and Omni 2- and 4-in-1 models if they experience any issues after installation, including replacing the tap in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect.”
