Kohler Co has unveiled its new Veil Lighted bathroom collection, pictured, which the company says is the “first ever connected bathroom suite that works together as a system”, at CES 2019, the consumer technology exhibition taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada until the 11th January.

According to Kohler, the new collection brings “immersive, connected lighting into the entire bathroom space”, with the product range including an “intelligent” toilet, freestanding bath, lighted mirror and lighted three-piece vanity.

Kohler said the products “work together as a system with integrated lighting”, giving the “power of personalisation” to users. It is adjustable with voice – working with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant – as well as motion control, a physical remote control and the Kohler Konnect app, which was unveiled at Kohler’s debut at CES in 2018.

The company is also showcasing its new Numi intelligent toilet at the show, calling it its “most advanced intelligent toilet” with “exceptional” water efficiency, personalised cleansing and drying functions, a heated seat and built-in speakers.

“Connected technology is driving innovation in the smart home category, but connectivity alone isn’t enough,” said Kohler Co president and CEO David Kohler. “We believe in leading with design and seamlessly incorporating the right technologies so that our customers can personalise their bathroom experiences to be just right for them.”
