Shower manufacturer Roman has bid farewell to its longstanding northern contract manager Geoff Ingram, pictured centre right, who is retiring after 10 years at the company and 50 years within the industry.

Ingram started work as an apprentice heating engineer at 16 and has since spent his entire career in the bathroom industry. After working at Baxi Boilers and Myson, he spent 21 years at Aqualisa, working his way up to the role of national contract manager.

He joined Roman in 2009 as northern contract manager. Andy McLeod – pictured far left beside managing director David Osborne, centre left – will take over the role following Ingram’s retirement.

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Geoff over the years and he has been such an asset to Roman,” said sales director Marc Teasdale, pictured far right.

“We cannot thank Geoff enough for his outstanding contribution to Roman and we all wish him a long, enjoyable and very well-deserved retirement.”
