The Used Kitchen Exchange has appointed three new staff from B&Q Homefit installation service, which closed last year.

Rachael Taylor, pictured centre, has joined the company as operations manager following a 12-year stint at B&Q as customer project manager and showroom manager for Homefit. According to Used Kitchen Exchange, Siobhan Loughran, right, was formerly a team leader at B&Q Homefit, while Stuart Snowden, left, was Homefit project coordinator.

“I’m really excited to be a part of Used Kitchen Exchange,” said Taylor. “Having seen so many kitchens being taken to landfill during my career, it’s great to be part of a solution to this problem that not only is beneficial the environment but also helps people make money out of something they would previously have thrown away.”

Used Kitchen Exchange founder and director Helen Lord said: “We are delighted to welcome Rachael, Siobhan and Stuart to our team. They bring with them a wealth of experience and will be instrumental in supporting our next stage of growth.”

“Used Kitchen Exchange is a forward-thinking, sustainable business with a very exciting future. 2019 is a pivotal year for us, with many exciting announcements planned. Having this level of expertise on board is an absolute gift and I am extremely grateful Rachael, Siobhan and Stuart have chosen to join us.”
