The Bathroom Manufacturers Association – BMA – has welcomed bathroom brand Jaquar as its latest member to join the association.

The India-headquartered company – which has a UK office in Redhill, Surrey – has a presence across more than 45 countries, with products manufactured in six “state-of-the-art” facilities in India as well as one in South Korea.

“We are delighted to welcome Jaquar to the BMA,” said BMA CEO Yvonne Orgill. “They are a relative newcomer to the UK market but well established internationally as one of the largest bathroom manufacturers in the world.”

Jaquar national sales manager Darren Chisholm added: “The BMA is recognised as the voice of the bathroom industry in the UK and is active internationally in setting standards and driving forward best practice.

“Membership is important to us as we share the BMA’s commitment to key environmental and safety issues for the bathroom industry such as compliance and water efficiency. We look forward to supporting the BMA in advancing changes and improvements to the benefit of our industry.”
