Grohe’s Blue Home pull-out connected tap has won Kitchen Innovation of the Year from the LifeCare Initiative, an independent initiative in Europe that “seeks to identify and respond to the needs of people in order to bring about a perceptible improvement in the quality of life”.

The product also took home the Golden Award – Best of the Best in the Kitchen Sinks and Kitchen Fittings category. The Blue Home pull-out connected tap impressed both the expert jury and consumers in the consumer survey, Grohe said.

“Receiving the double award makes me very happy, since the expert jury as well as the consumers confirm our belief that with Grohe Blue Home we have developed a product that is indispensable in the kitchen of tomorrow,” said Grohe AG CEO Michael Rauterkus.

“The real success of Grohe Blue Home is that it brings consumer needs such as convenience and enjoyment into perfect harmony with the intelligent and conscious use of water as a resource,” Rauterkus added.
