Britannia launches ‘exclusive club’ for new customers

Range cooker brand Britannia – part of Glen Dimplex Home Appliances – GDHA – has launched an “exclusive club” for new customers, Britannia Life, as part of the company’s “extensive” brand refresh which includes a new logo, revamped website and new POS material for retailers.

The new Britannia Life offers benefits and “next-level” service to new Britannia customers who buy a range cooker through participating retailers. Benefits include enhanced delivery and installation; a personal, in-home product demonstration, and dedicated pre- and post-purchase support from the company’s customer service centre.

There are also options for extra warranty and health checks supported by specially trained in-house engineers. Britannia Life members will also receive a free range cooker care pack, discounts on Britannia cookware and bakeware, and bespoke recipes and offers.

“The brand refresh and launch of Britannia Life represents a significant investment in Britannia and one which we think will not only strengthen the brand in the eyes of the consumer but will provide huge support to our retailers,” said GDHA managing director Mark Davison.

“Britannia delivers professional performance for the home – the products are beautifully designed and extremely high quality, so we want the service our customers receive to reflect all those strengths.

“Britannia Life will offer a range of delivery options that can include disconnection and removal of an old appliance, installation of the new one and then a personal demonstration to ensure the customer understands the features and functions in order to get the best out of the product from day one.”
