Kitchen and bathroom surface manufacturer Maxtop Quartz has appointed Shawn Buckle as its new regional sales manager for the south of England.

Buckle – who boasts 14 years’ experience in the industry – has joined the company following a seven-year stint as key account manager at Bushboard. In his new role, he will be responsible for building relationships with new distributors and working with independent retailers in his region.

“I’m delighted to be joining the company at such a momentous time and to be involved in its ambitious growth plans for the future,” Buckle said. “I’m looking forward to spreading the word about Maxtop Quartz and all it has to offer.”

Maxtop Quartz managing director Stephen Moss added: “Shawn’s appointment tops off an exciting 12 months for Maxtop Quartz, which has seen us invest £2m in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in China and launch the next generation of our unique surface.

“Shawn’s knowledge and experience makes him the ideal person to confidentially grow the brand within the independent retailers and create strong relationships with our distribution partners – we’re thrilled to welcome him on board.”
