Online bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing has partnered with TV personality and designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen for its new national TV campaign, with Llewelyn-Bowen starring as the company’s “star employee”.

The adverts will take viewers on a tour of Victorian Plumbing’s headquarters where Llewelyn-Bowen “waits to be unleashed on the next bathroom in need of his stylish aid”. The ads will also bring back Victor and Ian from the company’s previous Green Button advertising campaign, who will help Llewelyn-Bowen “get ready ahead of his latest bathroom rescue”.

The campaign is being featured on all major UK channels with marquee spots during The Voice and Britain’s Got Talent, and will be accompanied by an out-of-home campaign across the country, including in London Euston and Birmingham New Street stations.

The company’s 2018 advertising campaign garnered more than 420 million impressions, Victorian Plumbing said. “The team and I are excited to launch the next Victorian Plumbing ad campaign today,” said chief marketing officer Joe Pascoe.

“As always, we’ve decided to stand out from the crowd by using an interesting, memorable creative that is a continuation from the story that our audience has come to know. We feel it’s by far our best campaign to date and we’re looking forward to hearing what the public think.”

Pascoe added: “We spent a lot of last year looking for an icon to represent the brand. After working on a smaller social project, we made the leap to work with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen again for this campaign. Working together has been fantastic, he’s a true professional and his brand image has great synergy with Victorian Plumbing.”
