The Eldon bath from Victoria + Albert Baths was recently featured on an episode of George Clarke’s Ugly House to Lovely House on Channel 4.

Designed exclusively for the company by Conran + Partners, the Eldon is designed to create the illusion of a freestanding silhouette with the “added practicality” of a back-to-wall installation, Victoria + Albert Baths said.

The bath was chosen for the refurbishment of a “bland” 1970s house in Saffron Walden. The owners appointed architect Chris Dyson to transform the house into a “bright, modern home for a young family”.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to see Victoria + Albert featured on Ugly House to Lovely House,” said Victoria + Albert Baths communications manager Emma Joyce.

“The show is all about the power of good design and clever use of space. Eldon was the perfect choice for this challenging bathroom remodel.”
