Primaflow F&P’s Wright takes on two endurance races for charity

Primaflow F&P executive PA Dani Wright is taking on two endurance races for the company’s chosen charity partner for 2019 and 2020 – Make-A-Wish UK. Wright will take on the 26.2-mile London Marathon on 28th April and then the Dukeries Ultra Marathon, a 40-mile long event that loops around Sherwood Forest, just two weeks later.

Wright has been training intensively over the past year but admits she is relatively new to running. "Prior to 2016, I had never raced but decided to try and raise funds for our then-partner Alzheimer's Society by running 100 miles throughout the year. Having accomplished this, I upped the stakes last year to 200 miles and this year I wanted to raise the bar even higher and tackle my first ever Ultra race," she explained.

Wright has also inspired the company's operations director John Peck to take up the sport, he has set himself the challenge of running 1,000km. The company has already raised £4,000 for Make-A-Wish UK, with further fundraising activities in the pipeline.
