Waterproof decorative wall panel manufacturer Multipanel – owned by Grant Westfield – has named John Mortimer as its new sales director.

Mortimer has joined the company from laminate surface manufacturer Formica Group, where he held the role of sales director for the UK, Ireland and the Middle East. He has previously worked with trade and retail as well as specifications with architects, designers, fabricators, specifiers and developers.

“I am delighted to be joining Grant Westfield; it is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team that is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and best-in-class products,” Mortimer said. “I’m excited to play my part in growing the business through customer collaboration and by developing innovative products and services to meet their needs.”

Grant Westfield managing director Sarah Law added: “Grant Westfield and Formica share many similarities; a reputation for quality, heritage and brand and have enjoyed a trading relationship spanning decades.”

“Formica were the obvious supplier partner for our new, highly successful Multipanel collections. John’s experience in customer and sales team development will add value to Grant Westfield’s operations in the UK and Europe, and further establish the Multipanel brand as the industry leader in both product and customer service. We are delighted that John is joining us in the next phase of our customer focused strategy for growth.”
