Glen Dimplex Home Appliances – GDHA – has named Andy Warren as its new head of channel for kitchen specialists.

Warren was formerly sales and marketing director at Sharp Home Appliances. He previously spent eight years at Sharp Consumer Electronics as well as 16 years with Sony.

In his new role, Warren will head up GDHA’s team of regional sales managers to drive growth in the kitchen specialist sector, focusing on increasing displays of GDHA’s Stoves, Belling and Britannia brands.

“Kitchen specialists are a hugely important part of our business and a big focus of our growth strategy,” said GDHA managing director Mark Davison.

“We believe Andy has the skills, contacts and drive to help us build the profile of our brands amongst this important sector.”

Davison added: “We’ve invested significantly in our range cookers and Andy and his team will be working on communicating the benefits of our product range and building a compelling offer for kitchen specialists.”
