Miele has unveiled its new Generation 7000 series of appliances, which the company is calling the biggest launch in its 120-year history, with the range taking 72 months to develop involving 10 different factories.

The collection – comprising 15 product groups with a total of 353 models – is “the most holistic range of innovative kitchen appliances that Miele has ever produced”, according to the company.

Miele invited more than 3,500 of its top retail partners from around the world to attend a special ‘Miele Plaza’ event at its headquarters in Gütersloh, Germany, with each visitor taking part in an “immersive, fully interactive and culinary experience to understand first-hand the thinking behind and benefits of each new product range”.

The company is hosting a similar event at its Miele Experience Centre in Abingdon for its UK kitchen studios and partners. “The Miele philosophy is to always be ‘Immer Besser’ – forever better,” said Miele GB kitchens category manager Neil Pooley.

“Everything we do is based on the premise that it will improve the lives of our customers. The new Miele Generation 7000 series sets new standards in terms of design, intuitive ease of use, accuracy and technology innovation to deliver outstanding performance.”

Pooley added: “The feedback from everyone who has seen the new series so far has been incredibly positive and we look forward to installing the new products in kitchen studios and partners’ showrooms from 17th May 2019.”
