Acres Consultancy welcomes Ray Isted to team

Acres Consultancy – recently launched by former Omega director and KBSA retail corporate chairman Simon Acres – has appointed Ray Isted as its new training, marketing and recruitment consultant.

Isted previously worked for Whirlpool UK as head of training and group brand marketing manager. In 2014, he was appointed as chairman of the KBB National Training Group – NTG.

“We are thrilled that Ray has joined us,” said principal director Simon Acres. “He has a first-class reputation for enthusiastic and experienced training and will be a great asset to our business as we continue to service a growing, diverse and high-profile client base.”

Isted added: “I am delighted to be joining such a progressive and professional consultancy. It’s a great time to be joining the team and I am looking forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.”

The company also recently Luke Compton as its social media apprentice. Compton will support Acres creative head Kordian Pach in offering clients marketing, social media, website development and video production services.

He will continue his studies while working at the firm, gaining accredited qualifications with the Builders Merchant Federation. "We are delighted to welcome Luke to the team," said Pach.

"We are passionate about providing opportunities for young people to train and enter the world of work, the apprenticeship system provides great opportunities for both parties to gain.”

Compton added: “I am excited to be joining an ambitious company that will provide me with a wide range of experience and challenges. I am looking forward to playing a part in the company’s continued success.”
