Former England manager Kevin Keegan to host KBSA Awards 2019

Former England manager Kevin Keegan, pictured – who also played for England and Liverpool – has been named as the host of the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association – KBSA – Designer Awards 2019.

Keegan began his football career at 17 in 1968 at Scunthorpe United. He spent time at Liverpool, Hamburg, Southampton and Newcastle during his career, and captained England for six years until his retirement after the 1982 World Cup.

He was capped 63 times for England, scoring 21 international goals, and managed England, Newcastle, Fulham and Manchester City.

“We are delighted that Kevin Keegan will be joining us at the awards ceremony on 25th September,” said KBSA national chair Richard Hibbert. “As a sportsman that has experienced top level competitions he will have a lot to offer KBSA retailers competing to win a coveted Designer Award.”

Keegan will be presenting the winners of the 2019 KBSA Designer Awards with their trophies. Categories comprise Kitchens up to £25k, Kitchens £25k-£50k, Kitchens over £50k, Bathroom Designer, Kitchen Concept, and Young Designer. Members have until the 31st May 2019 to enter.

The 2019 KBSA conference, AGM and awards dinner will take place at the Stratford Manor Hotel on the 25th September 2019. Find out more: kbsa.org.uk/2019-designer-awards
