Billingham-based accessible washroom supplier NYMAS has celebrated an extended period of success following the appointment of a new operations and supply chain director.

The company welcomed Debbie Catterick in late 2018 as operations and supply chain director, who since joining has brought a focus on efficiency across the whole operations department. New technology has since been implemented in the warehouse which has reduced external storage by over 80 per cent.

This, combined with the expertise of warehouse manager David Jones and his team of operatives means the NYMAS team is "stronger than ever", according to the company.

Additional internal appointments at NYMAS include new product development director Keith Culmer, marketing coordinator Zoe Burey and business development manager Derek Carter.

NYMAS MD Craig Anderson said: “Following a period of consolidation in which we have focused on developing our team and processes, the company is now in a strong position to capitalise on the opportunities from the growing need for inclusive washrooms.

“The company has had a record quarter to start 2019, and with our commitment to continuous improvement we plan to build on this success throughout the year.”
