Fisher & Paykel has appointed Sam Rogers as its new national contracts manager, responsible for building the brand’s new contracts team in the UK, as well as strengthening relationships with SMEs and luxury developers and housebuilders.

Rogers previously spent nine years at Miele, where he was responsible for the specification of appliances for premium property developments in the UK.

“Sam is responsible for managing and driving the newly created contracts division,” said Fisher & Paykel UK, Ireland and Europe managing director David Woollcott.

“With 10 years of experience in building and managing successful projects under his belt, we’re confident he will help strengthen relationships with housebuilders in this rapidly growing channel for the F&P brand. We are delighted to welcome Sam and his New Zealand roots to Fisher & Paykel.”

Rogers added: “This was a fantastic opportunity to join a company I am very familiar with. As a proud Kiwi, it enables me to promote a brand that I grew up with and really align with its values. This is an opportunity to build an entire specialist contract sales division from the ground up and support Fisher & Paykel’s global objective to become the world’s number one premium brand.

“I’m looking forward to working with David Woollcott and the rest of the team as we progress our plans forward into the UK market.”
