Acres Consultancy – recently launched by former Omega director and KBSA retail corporate chairman Simon Acres – has kicked off its new ‘Industry Legend’ video series to “share the thoughts and advice of some of the most successful professionals in the industry”.

The first video in the series features north west London-based Kitchens Continental director Bernard Miel, pictured with Acres. In the video, Miel talks to Acres about his 35 years in the industry as well as “the changes he has witnessed and the advice he would give any new start-up businesses”.

“Bernard is the perfect choice for our first Industry Legend film as he has a wealth of experience to share,” said Acres. “Kitchens Continental is a successful KBSA family business that embodies everything an independent kitchen retailer should aspire to be in a challenging market.”

Miel added: “I am delighted to be part of this series of videos and promote the sharing of knowledge in our industry. We all have our own secrets of success to share, for me it is building up trust and approaching sales in a non- pressurised and relaxed environment.”
