Grohe is set to showcase its sustainability credentials with “fun experiential events” at the 2019 Bournemouth Air Festival, taking place from the 29th August to 1st September, as part of the company’s 2019 Truck Tour.

Grohe said it will use the “picturesque seaside setting” to launch a campaign focused on sustainability for the festival’s four days. The company will host a number of sustainable activities to highlight its stance against single-use plastics, offering visitors the chance to hydrate with filtered and chilled still or sparkling water from the brand’s Blue Home water system.

Grohe brand ambassadors will also be leading beach cleans, while the company will also host a variety of games for attendees with a Master of Ceremonies, with the chance to win prizes. “As a brand, we are committed to shaping the future of water,” Grohe UK training manager Chris Penney.

“Not only is it our aim to do this through forward-thinking product designs and innovations but also from the perspective of tackling the global plastic crisis. We love the affinity of this seaside town event with our own brand sustainability messaging and want to use our presence at the event for a much greater purpose.”

Penney added: “For events like this to continue to be successful and enjoyed, there needs to be an awareness and care taken towards the surrounding location. Our Grohe Blue WaterSystems are all about cutting the amount of single-use plastics we use as consumers and providing delicious filtered water from the tap.

“Our team will continue to expand on that message at Bournemouth Air Festival by encouraging visitors to remove, reduce or recycle their plastic, both at the event and as an ongoing part of their everyday lifestyles.”
