Pontypool-based bathroom brassware and sanitaryware distributor Faucets has managed to raise more than £6,500 for the Make A Wish Foundation through its annual Charity Golf Day, which took place at the Celtic Manor Resort in July.

The event – marking the eighth held by the Pontypool company – saw 16 teams of golfers – made up of Faucets’ key suppliers and staff – take to the resort’s Roman Road course. The hotel was the home of the 2010 Ryder Cup and 2014 Nato Summit.

“I would like to thank everyone for taking part on the day, and the tremendous amount of money we raised – the cash really will make a difference and create unique memories for the children and their families,” said Faucets managing director Darren Taylor.
